Firefox is incredibly slow on my computer. I suffer the Firefox slow problem that around 30% of all Firefox users have and which does have 315030106 threads about it but nobody ever found a solution. A single page, even without many pictures takes several minutes to load when you suffer this problem. It is because Firefox loses connection every second and needs to reconnect. Nobody could ever resolve it and it only happens on certain computers it seems.

That's why for sides that work with Internet Explorer I'm using IE right now. For sites that only work with Firefox I use Firefox 4.

I'm thinking about using Google Chrome as well, but I don't really want to get used to another completely new interface. :-/

the new version of Firefox 4.0 uses a completely evolved version of the Gecko rendering engine - 2.0, which has hardware acceleration, which works in an interesting way - instead of using the CPU to load pages, now it uses the GPU, which means, if you have an ALIENWARE M18x, with its dual GPUs, you will load pages at the blink of an eye

and its kind of faster than Google Chrome, but its either my 768MB machine, or just Firefox enjoys having memory leaks, sometimes it gets really slow, but my two favourite browsers still remain Firefox and Chrome, and i think Chrome will evolve even more..

come to think of it, it appeared in 2008 and its already stealing users from every oponent, especially IE


once i was using IE, but that was when i had next to no knowledge of computer stuff, later on i discovered Firefox and its addons and then Chrome with its extensions, and now i cant use a browser without Adblock and the other good stuff

EDIT: the browsing experience is the one i have trouble the most - Firefox has memory leaks and as fast as 4 and 5 are, its still slow sometimes, while Chrome is generally fast, after some time using it, it loads pages really slowly - 5-10 seconds of blank page and then it loads.. really frustrating
