no ingame audio when recording with fraps or bandicam

ok so i recently added new parts to my computer and also reformatted my computer, installing everything from scratch. After reinstalling my drivers everything worked fine. But when i tried to record with fraps and bandicam, it doesnt seem to record any ingame audio, my microphone was working. All I could hear was sound from my microphone, Stereo Mix is checked in my sound settings too. I have no idea what is happening. Fraps audio setting is set to "record win7 sound" stereo as well. I also notice that my other devices in the sound settings are currently unavailable, is that a problem too? here's an image: "click here" . I then recorded my firefox window using fraps and turned on some music and it worked o.o but it doesnt work for recording ingame sounds. any advice? My sound recording settings can only have one device ticked. Right now my microphone is set to default device. I tried setting stereo mix as default and nothing happens.

I also noticed that when I press the volume button on my keyboard the volume display popup which I use to have doesnt appear anymore. So now I cant see my audio volume going up or down and have to put my mouse on the speaker icon down at the task bar to check my volume %. when I say volume bar i mean "this"



I am currently using the Asus Xonar D2X sound card. And my motherboard is Asus M4N98TD EVO.

Disable (Right-click > Disable) the Converter and Wave, see if that works.

nope lol still doesnt work. I disabled both
