It means your graphics don't have dedicated video memory. It means your system RAM is being used as video ram...so you have both your system and your onboard video "sharing" the same memory. This causes you to have less RAM to use for your system as well as lower overall performance.

You should get something with a dedicated graphics card if you're wanting to play games on it. Those processors you listed have the GPU integrated on the CPU if I remember correctly...they're "ok" for gaming but are better for media like youtube videos, very mild gaming, etc...anyways I really don't feel like looking it up atm.

Just get something with a dedicated graphics card. Any kind of integrated isn't too good at gaming unless its at low resolution or older games.

*gets out anti-rude-hammer*

Oh no you don't, you're gonna play, POLE POSITION!!!!! *whacks*

Anyway, to the OP, anything higher than the AMD Radeon HD 6400 would be pretty good. However, do take note the size of the video cards. Any hefty video card may have a hard time fitting into a mid-tower (Which most retail stores sell.)

if you're on a retail store machine, your case probably only has one fan (not counting the power supply fan, as it never counts :V) The dedicated card would heat up like a microwave in that state.

Anything 6400+ dedicated (For desktops anyway) will work on low, low-medium, medium. However, you may want to turn off all shadows; shadows usually are the killer intensive part of MMOs that no developer seems to get right. Honestly, they all should stick to the simple circle under all characters.

Shared memory is a PR word. It doesn't mean squat. It's intended to make you forget about actual shader performance, which is notoriously bad in integrated solutions.

This too. if you see a graphic card, look it up on the chip manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD), NOT the publisher / retailer of the chip. They usually have shader information.

However, I tend to lead to the Open-Source community, and favor GLSL.
