Should i get this before the sale ends?
Gateway - Desktop / AMD A-Series Processor / 4GB Memory / 1TB Hard Drive - SX2370-UB30P

It's got a Radeon HD 6530D, Quad-Core 2.1 GHz AMD A6 Processor and 4GB of RAM.
It should run most games on medium to medium-high. Careful with pushing it though, it's only got one fan, and is a mini tower. it'll heat up like crazy.

Technically, all of best buy's pre-built computers only come with one fan (chassis) in terms of desktop. I was surprised that ASUS was able to get some laptops into Best Buy with two fans.

Oops, I just realized that the two computers i listed are from the ameican website not the canadian....
how is this one? Acer Aspire Desktop Computer featuring AMD A6-3600 Processor (AX3470-EB30P) : Everyday Computing - Best Buy Canada will this be able to handle most games listed on the site at about medium graphics? Last edited by rollingfast; 12-25-2011 at 10:55 AM.

Are you going to record anything or save a ton of videos? If not, you don't need more than 250 GB. Unless you have the silly need to install every single game imaginable, or not use free antivirus / firewall means like COMODO / Microsoft Security Essentials.
But then again, desktops pre-built really never come with 250 GB anymore. The graphics on your new choice is AMD Radeon HD 6530D (same as your original choice) in case anyone can't find it. Since you keep choosing mini towers, the fan that's included will be smaller than 120 mm, and will allow the system to heat up faster. Not that it wouldn't on a prebuilt system with a bigger fan, since Best Buy only puts in one fan (on the back only) even if there's spots for three or more.
