Revenue has to come from somewhere, and ads for games on a gaming website is a perfectly fine way to get that revenue to keep the site upfloat.

Whether or not he gets paid for making the videos is irrelevant in my opinion.
I am fairly sure that most of us watch the MMOHut videos and joined this channel because we like the work he does, regardless of whether he does it for fun or for money.

On a side note, I do actually think he enjoys making these videos and the money that comes with it is just a nice extra.
