Pre - Character Customization

A lot of games have this already, a stand-alone site for skill-tree customization and what not. Now, would you like games to have a pre-customizer on their own homepage, so that you are able to customize both the visuals of your character, and skill-sets and trees or adding the talent points? Maybe even with an option to look at endgame gear sets. Because with most MMORPG's, you have to go to a stand-alone site. But they aren't always correct or in sync with the state of the game. Would this work, or would you love to see games doing this feature? Of course with the option to still go in a game blindly.
