Just heard about this game today, looks amazing! Game's release date was just announced for May 1st 2012. No idea when CBT is going to be but they are already getting partners for key giveaways.

It looks like a presistant world action mmorpg and it looks fantastic!

I like Dragon nest better ;D and it isn't even at europe -.- Wth is with my continent i don't know.
This plays too slow.

TERA is going to be pay to play
I'm still going to play it once it's out tho, I tried it out and it's really smooth.
Been dying to find a new game to get away from WoW and TERA is that game for me.

Pay 2 play why are you all sad for it .
Yes I know I had problems till i hit age that i could go to work (student work).
15$ monthly is nothing.
And what customer support is better.
There is none hackers. There MUSN'T BE gold spamers,sellers.
So yes pay 2 play is better in support, and your equal. (no cash shop items)
If you play it 10 years or 1 year you won't have any better gear you can catch up with old players quickly.

If you love game you will pay it.

Problem is that TERA might be a good game, but isn't all that great. It's basically like Allods Online, even the same slow combat system. The only difference is that in TERA you can walk while casting. I don't really see this as action in the first place.

Also money isn't the problem with P2P. The problem is that you are paying even if you don't play. I don't have time to play more than 10 per month and paying 12€ for it? That's so not worth it...
The whole P2P model is only good for hardcore gamers really.

If they made games more like "100 hours play time = 12€" then I'd be so for it.

I, for one, will be playing TERA. It has my fixation of loli, and I really like the combat system. From what I played of it, it played sort of like Monster Hunter with the Lancer class (slow hits, tanking/blocking shots with your shield, the occasional slow dodge). I don't like any of the other MMOs with a faster paced combat (Dragons Nest, Vindictus, etc.) mainly because of the instanced-based system.

I've played both Allods and Tera and I don't really understand you when you say it's the same combat?

I don't recall having to aim to hit the mobs in Allods.

If hack and slash is not action could you explain to me what action is for you?
I'm curious, because from what I have read up on games like Kingdom Hearts, Devil may cry, Zelda and other titles with that kind of combat system is "action combat".

Ah, that's right. There were already hackers in the JP OB. It was crazy. They would bot and just teleport instantly to a mob and just kill it.
