There are classes. But no skills. Classes are for both factions: Medic, Rifleman, Sub-machine gunner, Sniper. The thing is, each class can handle everything but when a sniper picks up a sub-machine gun like thompson he's accuracy falls greatly and the spread and recoil crazy increases.
Everything will be player driven. The high ranked officers like army generals will be played by the game's GMs. There will be no guilds. Only legions/battalions. Each player will enter one after their tutorial. The battalions will be commanded by a field officer or whoever that rank is. That rank will be played by players after they reach it from a simple private. The rank system will be updated as follows. The GMs sent word to an officer to attack somewhere. The army goes attacks bla bla, the more battles you survive you will get some XP maybe or depending on the effort you made to win the battle killed so many enemies or w/e you gain XP and earn a rank. But it will be hard and not as easy as it sounds. Go for example hide under a tree that battle ends we win and boooom rank from private to sergeant. No, no it's the effort you make.
There will be attributes that will automaticly increase depending on your class with each rank you gain.
Death will be like this. When you die you make a new char. You don't respawn, your rank is lost. Thought the higher rank you were and the more attributes you had the new char will be made a bit better than the (deaful) one you made the first time but still remain a private. Nothing overpowered.
The goal is for Axis to conquer the whole world and the Allies to save it. Once Hitler is gone killed, who will be played by a game's GM, the Allies win and the server restarts (I haven't really thought about that but w/e now I'll post the new ideas when I come up with them).
*Then there comes the Expansion Pack (I've thought it all haven't I XD) World War II! New races!*
Axis: Japanese
Allies: Americans/US (can't recall w/e)
So now we have also vehicles. People will be able to drive planes and engage in dogfights with the enemy (maybe a new class Pilot, who knows).
Manage ships and fight in the Pasific, submarines, and anything you can imagine!
The thing is to make all these there have to be resources. The resources will grow each day on their own (and maybe with each battle won). Now every faction has factories. These factories will be able to make planes and ships and cars and tanks and anything we need. We can also conquer enemy factories or make more with our resources.
