Yep, you read it right. I am officially PERMA-BANNED from League of Legends.

Player since Beta, and I finally said something about how Riot is extremely unoriginal and steals their champion ideas from other people.

Take the champion "Volibear" for example. Stole the idea from The Golden Compass (Yorick is the bears name)

Viktor? Stole the idea AND story from the Dr. Frankenstein story.
Know what's funny? Dr. Frankensteins FIRST name was VICTOR

I'm actually hoping SOPA stops Riot from stealing ideas, so they can actually be ORIGINAL with their champion design.

To anyone thinking about playing League of Legends, don't.

The community is full of NOTHING but children. You do bad one game and you automatically get yelled at, your team calling you bad, telling you to go kill yourself, etc etc.

How can you support SOPA? Lol. It's nothing new that Riot steals champion ideas from known stuff.

On a side note, you try to come up with ideas, after 50 champions.

I've actually posted ideas on there. I shouldn't say I SUPPORT SOPA, I just hope they stop Riot from doing stuff like that.


And yeah, I've been looking at alternatives. I was thinking Heroes of Newerth :P

Lets just say who doesn't take "inspiration or ideas" from other people.

If you ask me it's about the game and not the originality of the characters..
Every game has pretty much the same classes (warrior, rogue etc.) so if you're going to complain about the heroes not being original in LoL, you should also complain about the classes in every other MMO existing at the moment.

If you're going that far, shouldn't you be bashing the idea that Frankenstein's monster is a zombie and therefore stole the idea from the plethora of different ideas for zombies of old?

You want to hear funny part? LoL is pretty much a unique game and i couldn't mind if they take other ideas xD thats good put all the worlds famous characters in there...I was playing Skyrim other day the game feels so familiar a mixture of previous TES games and fresh something in from other games like Gothic...And yet everyone's hyped about it much like LoL...

Who cares the concepts are linked to other champions in different games. They give a twist to the model , try to make it original and fun for everyone to play.

How can you hate Riot for that? Ridiculous. And even get 'mad' about it , makes it even more ridiculous.
