Help me pick a champ (LoL)

I've been playing League of Legends for a while now and I still can't find a champion that I like. I prefer either a melee champion that can deal decent damage and move around the map a lot.(Not interested in Riven) or an ap caster who can deal some good damage and provide the group support during team fights or a quick farming AD carry who isn't too hard to learn. Currently I play Lux as a main and mess around with Annie. I'm trying to learn Sivir bit by bit but I'm not very good. Also any tips with champions would be appreciated.

Tryna is also godlike.
Shaco is pretty nice. <-- need team support tho

Group Support = Yorick. <-- underplayed but a beast.
Garen is pretty nice too

You should also try Talon or Katarina.

I hear vayne is the best carry atm so I may try her out, not really a big fan of trynda and shaco seems kind of useless without his boxes. Also I'm not interested in akali mainly because my friends play akali and I don't want to fight with them over her. Yorick seems interesting and I'll probably check him out. No offense to any kat players but I think she's kind of worthless. Also talon and fizz seem really powerful at the moment so I may give them a try. I've really been considering playing Ren with atmas and frozen mallet.

Vayne is pretty nice, but the BEST carry? No.. :/ - she only exceeds if she gets fed.. only if the game drags too long ...

Yorick is pretty fun, unstoppable force
Kat - Need a pre made 5s team to be a beast. Can carry hard if timed right. (Amumu, Sona, Morgana ults + Kat = gg) .. well Amumu + Morgana = already gg.. Kat just finishes it off

Talon: Ever since the nerf, i have seen a decrease in them (However i didn't play for 4 weeks since my desktop broke down _) .. He can carry. But i wouldn't suggest taking him

Fizz: Didn't play / vs him yet

Ren: SO FUN LOOOL SO FUNN

Yorick can be really annoying. I played vs him and Zilean(and other dudes ofc) yesterday and they both revived their teammates so it was sort of like playing with 5v7. Plus - if played smart - he can really own his lane in the early game.
IMHO, this fella never got the credit from the community that he deserved. But pretty much the same thing happened to Wukong in the beginning, and he is also a really decent champ.

Bout Talon and Fizz: both really nice, but I prefer the second one. It's a fast and fun to play character, and I'm still thinking about buying him after getting my Dodge runes refundation.

I'm telling you man... I started the Yorick revolution and you're going to see his ass blow up especially in Dominion. Same with Talon... I remember when he first came out I got him and was owning and everyone was like "OMG who the f--- is that!?!?!" Good times... I don't play anymore lol

zilean Very strong early game very annoying for everyone to fight.. He can slow enemys and speed you up or team mates. He has the strongest non ultimate aoe in the game.. He also has a cool down reduction spell that reduces the cool down of all ur ability powers.

He also gives 8% more exp to everyone on the map < :O
