However, just based on the "content" of your post, I would assume you have not played draft or ranked.

Swain is no longer considered a true AP carry. He can't nuke. Him + Vlad makes for good dual AP/mage like Ryze (as a counter to Trynd or other melee solotop).

Good AP carries include Gragas, Annie, Xerath, Cassiopeia (funny because everyone though she was bad then she got A LOT of play in IPL and IEMNY), Morgana

Blitz is good for roaming, and so you should never put him on bot lane.

Supports. You forgot Taric. He allows for the most aggressive lanes.

Shyvana is just... meh. She lanes mediocre, and just barely better in the jungle. She's fun, but not competitive enough.

You need a laning partner? You can either play support or AD carry. HOWEVER, as support, you MUST learn ward and counter-ward locations. As an AD carry, you need to get AT LEAST 10 creep kills a minute.

I just really don't want to jungle at all, I'm not interested in xereath simply because he requires you to play rather smart. I'm used to STUN BEAR FIREBALL DIE DIE DIE. I'm not a fan of dual mages. Gragas seems great and annie was my first mage. I'm a terrible morgana and cass :X also around mid game my friend(blitz) leaves me to free farm well he roams around doing whatever. I like taric and was thinking of trying him but I like sona's ranged harass a little more, but the flash + stun seems really deadly. I always ward but I hate when my support doesn't ward which forces me to constantly buy wards just so I don't get ganked. I do also know how important farming creeps is, isn't 16-18cs equal to one hero kill?

I'm way too indecisive to consider jungle. If I ever did want to pick up a jungler I'd most likely go for skarner since I bought the bundle on launch.
